Terms and Conditions
Cleaning Supplies/ Equipment. Following
your free environmental assessment, we will advise you on the most appropriate
eco and health friendly cleaning products for your premises. In order
that we reach our high standards, we ask that you purchase all the necessary
cleaning supplies recommended. They are available at all the main supermarket
chains. If you do not have the time, we will be happy to purchase the
items for you at an additional cost.
Payment Policy. We accept payments by cheque, cash or
electronically, paid directly to the office or bank account of G-NOVA
Ltd. We suggest that you set up a regular weekly or monthly payment to
us by standing order. We shall provide you with a monthly statement on
request. We request that outstanding payments are received by us within
7 days of the invoice date, unless agreed otherwise.
Cancellation Policy. We understand that there are times
when you might need to cancel or change your cleaning appointment. Due
to the high demand of our services, we require a cancellation notice of
48 hours before your scheduled appointment. A £20 fee applies for cancellations
of less than 48 hours notice. For less than 24 hours notice the full fee
will be charged for the scheduled cleaning session.
Cleaning during your absence. We are happy to clean whilst
you are absent during the day. If this is so, please provide our office
with clear entry and exit arrangements, which we will communicate to the
cleaner on duty. If you are away for longer that a week, we will usually
continue our regular cleaning sessions. On these occasions, we can carry
out a deeper clean of areas, such as fridge, oven, cupboard interiors
etc.
Replacement cleaners. If you use our services on regular
intervals, we will usually send the same cleaner. However, there may be
times when your normal cleaner is absent, due to sickness or holiday leave,
in which case we will substitute him/her with another cleaner and notify
you accordingly.
Staff safety. G-NOVA Ltd. reserves the
right to remove its staff from a cleaning site at any time if safety is
of concern or if integrity is in question. G-NOVA Ltd. reserves the right
to use different workers if necessary. For the safety of our staff G-NOVA
Ltd. will not allow its cleaning professionals to climb onto chairs, furniture
or sills to reach high levels. Please provide a ladder. Neither will G-NOVA
Ltd. allow its staff to lift or move heavy boxes or furniture.
Non-Entry Policy. If, after clear entry arrangements
have been understood, a G-NOVA Ltd. cleaning professional arrives at a
scheduled cleaning appointment and is unable to gain access to your premises
you will be responsible for paying the full amount for the scheduled cleaning
session.
Pets. We are accustomed to working around pets. However,
please ensure that they are kept in a room away from our cleaners’ presence
if they are left alone in the house/flat. Please remember that extra time
is needed to rid a home of pet hair.
Damages. G-NOVA Ltd. cleaning professionals treat your
home with the utmost respect. However, due to the nature of our business,
accidents can happen. Should damage occur, please notify us within 24
hours after the cleaning appointment has ended. We cannot guarantee reimbursement
for damages reported more than 24 hours after the end of the cleaning
appointment.
Washing and Ironing services Please do not include any
delicate or ‘dry clean only’ items in your laundry. G-NOVA Ltd. does not
assume responsibility for delicate or dry cleaned items accidentally left
in your laundry. We require that you provide all laundry detergent and
necessary monies for operating laundry machines. We are an environmentally
friendly cleaning service that does not use bleach, should you provide
and require our cleaners to use bleach. Should you require our cleaners
to use bleach, we do not assume responsibility for any accidents.
Staff/Client Policy. In order to maintain out high standards
of service quality and delivery, we personally recruit, employ and train
all of our staff. Please respect this special relationship by always seeking
to deal directly with our office, rather than our cleaners.
